Websites like craigs list

People often tell me that My websites like craigs list and that they are much prettier.  There are many differences however.  On craigs list, you can only sell your items and have them posted there for a period of 7 days before having to repost them.  Plus they do just about any category whereas Hot Rod Deals is only about Vehicles (Hot Rods & Classic Car & Tuners cars mainly) and not every topic under the sun. 

Here we believe that we do a better job of allowing sellers to show what they have for sale in a totally free environment.  In this system, members can create an ad for a vehicle with as many pictures as they want along with all the textual information they can think of and what's probably our best feature... is with the videos combined into one single page to make a killer ad for selling their car.  Nothing is required other than good valid information. 

Like Craigs List, we do not get involved in the transaction of money changing hands.  That responsibility is up to the sole discression of the buyer and the seller. 

Hot Rod Deals,  like Craigs List promotes dealing locally, in cash, after inspecting the item in person and not doing any transactions with cashiers checks, money orders, or personal checks.  If they can legitimately come up with any of those other methods, then cash should not be much harder.  Also, for more expensive items, I suggest that you go to a bank to conduct the transaction so that they give you the cash, and it goes right into your bank account(for the seller).    This way the governing authority is guaranteeing the validity of the funds rather than getting any kind of fake or invalid payment.  To date, I have not gotten any feed back from any members that this has happened.  But like with ebay and craigs list, I'm sure it will be in our future.  But since we don't get in the middle of your transaction, we don't have the security concerns of ebay but like craigs list will eventually hear of some kind of story like that.
